Annie Lennox
Annie Lennox born December 25, 1954, Aberdeen Scotland. Dorothy Farquharson, and Thomas Allison Lennox were her parents. Lennox attended Lennox's Royal Academy of Music, London in the 70s. She studied the harpsichord and flautist piano over 3 years. Lennox's budget was increased with a student stipend and part-time work. Lennox believed that her abilities aren't the same as the Royal Academy classmates. So she began thinking about other options she could pursue. Lennox began her career as an instrument player within the band Dragons Playground. The group broke up before they appeared as a guest on I.T.V's talent show New Faces. The singer was lead vocalist for The Tourists (a British popband) between 1977 and 1980. As part of this group, she was introduced to Dave Stewart. Together they will create the Eurythmics the pop group. Lennox then went on to release her first solo album Diva. This was released in the year 1992. The album received a lot of praise both by critics as well as the general public. Nostalgia Lennoxs Sixth Solo Album came out in October of 2014. The C.D. Lennox chose her most loved blues and soul songs. Lepidoptera, a collection four piano improvisations was published by Lennox in May of 2019. The E.P. is an accompanying piece of her artwork in the Massachusetts Museum of Contemporary Art titled"Now I'll Let You Go... The album is also her debut independently-released album. Annie Lennox was born in 1954 on 25 December. She is a philanthropist, activist as well as a singer. The Tourists gained some minor notoriety for Dave Stewart's work during the 1970s. The group went on in the 1980s, to become the popular duo Eurythmics. In 1992 Lennox launched a solo career by releasing the release of her first album Diva that produced a number of hit tracks, including Why and Walking through Broken Glass. Medusa an album from her studio, that was released in 1995 features versions of some of her biggest hits, such as No MoreI Still Love Yous (and The Whiter Shade of Pale). Her solo catalog includes six studio albums as well as a compilation album to her credit. |
